Move through the idea.

A native horizontal exhibition on larger screens, a continuous vertical walkthrough on smaller ones, and a workbench for the implementation.

Eight rooms. One relationship.

The home page is a sideways exhibition. Each room develops one thought: the possibility, exchange, Part, collection, point of view, open model, answers and invitation.

At 760 pixels and below, the same rooms become a vertical walkthrough with adapted sculptures and type. Our angle is a statement wall; Starting point is a receipt-like tape; The exchange is a relationship map; Model room uses drawers around an exploded object. Documentation lives in this workbench.

Use native navigation.

The exhibition is an overflow container with CSS scroll snapping. Touch and trackpad gestures work natively. Numbered chapter links and previous/next buttons select a room. When the walkthrough itself has keyboard focus, left and right arrows navigate rooms.

There is no wheel hijacking or custom scroll physics. The Part control separates its geometry. A range input changes an abstract arrangement; it never changes or displays financial data.

Direct hash links can open a room. Native anchor navigation and the form remain usable without JavaScript.

Make depth do a job.

SpatialArt.astro defines the portal, return beam, separated Part, stacked frames and final folded wave. spatial.ts measures each room once and refreshes geometry on resizing and font loading.

Scroll input schedules a single animation frame. Each room receives a distance and focus variable, which drive independent transform layers. No permanent animation loop or animation library is required.

On small screens those variables follow vertical position. Reduced motion removes travel and uses completed static compositions. Manual controls remain available without animated transitions.

Signal, ink, paper.

Syne provides wide display letters, DM Sans handles prose and IBM Plex Mono labels the controls. Fonts are self-hosted. The brand kit includes the original opposing-strip symbol and wordmark variants.

The document-head script resolves sideby-theme before painting. System preference is used until a manual choice is stored. Dark mode uses lighter signal accents and warm paper text; the workbench has its own surface hierarchy in each theme.

Keep every room reachable.

The document has a skip link, a named focusable walkthrough, native links, buttons with names, labeled forms and live status messages. All meaningful explanations are text. Graphics are decorative and do not convey account values.

The signup never displays confirmation after a failed or unconfirmed request. A new persisted signup returns a private removal credential. Code copy controls copy text without executing requests.
